I have been working on a slide show quilt and it is not lining up correctly can some one give me tips?

What is not lining up? The large squares or the small surounding squares?

Can you post some pictures of it for us? sometimes a visual makes it easier for us to be able to help. :D

the small squares are not lining up.it is way off

i am ready to throw it out and call it a day

Have you checked your seams lines? are they all a consistent 1/4" With those small squares, being a little off will throw them off quicker than a big square. Check your pressing too.

Try to press the lighter fabric toward the dark so that your seams don't show thru the lightr fabrics.
