Can someone name this quilt pattern?

I had a question from a family member asking if I knew the name of this pattern. Is it familiar to anyone?

I love it!! Looks like a 9 patch variation.
|
Single Irish Chain variation?
|
I see a four patch with sashing and cornerstones. One thing that is throwing me off is the plaid pieces. They may be patchwork or just carefully cut plaid fabric.

Looks to me like someone was using up scraps and they used whatever fabrics they could squeeze a square out of. I love this scrappy quilt.

25patch with sashing and cornerstones.
Had another look... it's actually 4 patches with lots of sashings and cornerstones. |
Yes, it does look like a variation of a single Irish Chain. Nicely done there is a good chance you would find this variation in the http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html . There are many variations availabale there.

Single Irish chain is what I see.

Looks pretty to me.

I saw a set of 4- 4 patches in each segment with sashing and cornerstones around each 4 patch. It's harder to see the pattern in a whole quilt, so I drew both a small quilt and a larger one. I used a 4 patch finished size of 6 inches and a sashing of 2 inches finished. I called it Scrappy 4 patch.

Nice chart Barb, that's exactly what/how I would do it. Starting with enough scraps to make four matching 4-patches plus sashing. In the example shown, all the sashing cornerstones are the same fabric.
