I believe that you got that right - the little screw goes into the slot and then you tighten down the screw once you have the guide at the setting that you want on your plate.

From left to right- The large spoon shape goes with the screw and attaches to the bed to the right of the needle as a fabric guide. Center is a roled hem foot and the right is a darning/embroidery foot. They go ta a low shank machine possibly something like a Pfaff, Necchi, Husquvarna/Viking- notice the shank is square around where it attaches to the bar. The box looks like it may be bakalight- easy way to tell is rub it with a cloth and furniture polish or even warm water and you will get an immediate smell of platic. Hnag on to them as they are interchangable with any machine with that shape shank and being a low shank.

The big metal one with the screw is a seam guide. It gets screwed into the little hole on top of the machine to the right of the needle plate.

The other is a quilting/darning foot. The bar that's on it makes the foot go up and down as you move the fabric around to manually quilt.

Yes that one is a seam guide & the screw is goes with it to hold in onto the bed of the machine.

this is correct.. the seam guide is held down to the machine with the thumb screw thru the track there would be a place on you plate that is a whole that the screw goes into. Rolled hem foot, and the other one is for darning.. good job

ok, so that is what a darning foot looks like for an old singer! How cool, I tried to find one on ebay. I too have the Janome 9500 MC, I love it.

i also have those same feet. Love it when i got my grandmother sewing supplies. i am 63. They work on my sewing machines now.
