My daughter (30 yrs old) wants to make some of those microwave potato bags. I have been looking for a pattern and have not found any. I am also looking on how to make one with all finished seams. It looks s much nicer . We don'tt have a serger and a older machine so an ideas on this would be great. Any help would be appreciated

http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load...520513440.html http://www.atimetostitch.com/potato_bags.htm Make sure to use only 100% cotton tater batting as these have been known to catch fire. |
There is a special batting made specifically for these bags called Warm Tater that is all cotton and has no 'scrim' on it, which has been known to cause problems.

Ehow has a few patterns for potato bags, here's one:

Where do you find that special tater warm batting? I have looked online and didn't find it. Maybe I am looking for the wrong thing?
