I am wondering if this is a program that allows you to design your own patterns or what?...Please share with me. I'm wondering what you need as far as computer capabilities and if you can just install program and start working? sounds too easy. Does it require embroidery machine?

I just bought it last Saturday. I LOVE it! Took some time to get it installed because my computer was arguing with it (simple language that I can understand). You just put the disk in and it loads itself. Does take some reading and studying but they have videos that help a LOT. Nope, doesn't require an embroidery machine. It's to make quilts...creates patterns, helps you decide color/fabric choices and tells you how much fabric you need. I'll say it again -- I love it!

Just go to SEARCH at the top of the topics list page and put in EQ6. You'll see all the discussion on this topic.

Do any of these programs allow you to scan in a print fabric to use in designing?

I make my own designs, and I WANT this in a bad way. Worth every penny!! If you are into doing your own thing, not following the crowd, this is for you! I hope you get it.
