Can you use Terial with a Cameo cutter?

I have a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and know I can use it to cut fabric applique shapes if you use a fusible stabilizer on the fabric. But I'm wondering if you could coat the fabric with Terial and then use it as a needle turn applique shape? Have never used Terial but know others have. Thanks!

I've not used it but I've seen demo's and yes you can. I also beleive you can use it in a printer.

Here's a YouTube demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWuPFwSQfV4

I use it for machine embroidery and don't use paper stabilizer.

For needle turn, wouldn't you want a soft, flexible edge on the fabric? Terial woul stiffen the fabric, similar to very heavy starch.

It would be very stiff for sure. I would use it for machine applique.

hmmm.....could you dampen the edges once it's cut so you could use it for needle turn?
