My personal feelings are that I prefer "less is more" philosophy. Sometimes, I feel that there is too much quilting & that seems to take away from the beauty of the quilt itself. I love the designs I see on quilts but I often think that simpler is better because it lets the beauty of the top as well as the quilting take center stage. That's my humble opinion.

I like it just the way it is. Of course, since you're not in a rush, you could just let it "rest" somewhere , and you peek at it with fresh eyes a couple times a day for the next few days to see if your feelings change. Personally I like "fluffier" quilts that happen with less dense quilting. I think your gut will tell you after your eyes study it a day or two longer.
