Can't find the half Square String tutuorial done in strips.

Hi All,
I knew I should have bookmarked it....thought I'd be able to find it but can't!
Someone posted a link to a tutorial...it's done in strips, but looks like 1/2 string square and half
solid color. I have my strips ready but can't find the tute! You take the pieced strips, sew top and bottom to
a solid color, then cut out triangles...when you open it up you have a square with strips
on one side, solid on the other. I think it was tricky in the fact that on one side you cut beyond the sewn
line on the other you cut before the sewn line. Thank you in advance for any help!

Funny you should ask...I just found this method a day or two ago and pinned it.

Could it be a Missouri Star Youtube video of the Tube Quilt method?

This will help...thanks so much! Seems like a lot less work than dealing with all those triangles!

I can't remember! My poor old brain just doesn't work like it used to!! I'm not sure what the method is called to look it up on Missouri Star, but will take a look. Thank you!

that is part of the tube quilting methods to shortcut the piecing.
google tube quilts, you might get exactly what you are looking for.
