Can't find a pattern :(

I know this is a long-shot, but I am in search of an applique pattern that I saw last year in the LQS. It had a snowman on it and was on a medium-dark blue background. I think it was a wall-hanging. I don't remember anything else about it, except that it was absolutely adorable. My LQS seemed to think that it was probably a pattern that was new last year. I know this is very vague, but I'm hoping someone on here owns a quilt shop and could possibly point me in the right direction. Or could anyone give me the names of companies I could check out online? I've googled everything I can think of and haven't had any luck. Fingers crossed!

It may have been a table runner.

There are tons of snowman related quilts and table runners. Do you remember what they were doing?

Go to pinterest and put "snowman quilts" in the search box.

Was it the whole snowman or just the head?

SavedByGrace 07-31-2014 05:11 PM

It was the whole snowman and there may have been a pine tree or something too. It wasn't just the snowman by itself. I know this is extremely hard......thank you for your help!

It was similar to these.....

Do some google searches, changing your words .................

Are you sure it was not a panel? Every year the fabric companies print some really nice snowman panels.

Long shot, but I will post a couple I found:

I've searched through hundreds of patterns......I think I'm out of luck. I just can't remember enough about it. Who knows.... maybe I've seen it and just didn't recognize it. Thanks for the help, though.

I don't understand why the shop couldn't check the pattern invoices and find the pattern for you. At least give you the names of all the pattern companies and let you search from there. To not help you or shake their head as not remembering anything about it is just plain not caring as they have better things to do for other customers.

Bet you will find it on Pinterest. Put "snowman quilted wallhangings" in the search box. There are tons of snowmen!

I agree. They should be able to help you by checking their invoices. Most owners are familiar with their inventory.

Primitive Gatherings has alot of snowmen patterns.

I understand your frustration! I am the worst when doing searches. I don't know why but my daughter and sons can find what I am searching for in just minutes, after I've spent hours trying and trying!!!
Good luck in your search, and if you can't find the exact one, hopefully you will find one you like as well, or even better!

Check with your LQS. They may know the name and will order one for you.

Mimosa91 08-02-2014 02:53 PM

I like this pattern but only made the snowman that was holding a broom..none of the others in the grouping.
Kathykwylie.com. I probably made it 15 years ago or more and it sure is a cutie!

Oopsie! I forgot to mention that it was her Aug. 4, 2010 post..

My first thought was McKenna Ryan Snow Buds patterns.
