I would imagine that it will be in the pattern

It is a paper pattern and they ask you to make a plastic template.

I ordered this kit inMarch, on the last page on the instructions there is a outline of the template which includes the 1/4 inch seam allowance. I have finished the project, now doing the binding. I wasn't good sewing the curves together so I sewed the together like raw edge app. Look good. When I quilted it I followed the wavy seams. Good Luck.

Do you have a url to see the kit? I think I've seen about any kind of ruler there is.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. I have the pattern for the flag. It has the template for the pieces. I don't want to cut out with template....I'm looking for a RULER that is plastic that allows me to use the rotary cutter. Here's a pic of the template. The ruler I'm looking for is the like the template labeled "ruler"...NOT the star. thanks

From CT:
"Made using a single template, you'll be an expert in no time, even if you've never done curved piecing before."

If it is a single template, just trace from the pattern, draw around it and cut with scissors. Good luck

BUT - as I said - I do NOT want to do it that way --- call me stubborn but as I said I'm just looking for a ruler..............................

Hi Janet, thanks for this info. I've been wanting to make a wave quilt but hadn't started with the triangular patterns available. I like this idea of ruler so so much better. I think it makes waves look more natural. :o) Joy

Just tried to help. I thought that the template was IN the pattern and one could make the template ,

if they so wished.
