So I'm making a quilt for my soon to be mother in law, and I'm stuck. I decided to use Card Trick blocks, but now I can't figure out how to design the rest of it.

I have four card trick blocks, 20x20, and I don't know how I want to proceed... Any suggestions? Websites? Pictures?

I'm never going to finish this by mother's day if I do't figure out what design to go with!!

Help!

I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you mean arranging, sashing, etc? I googled images of the card trick quilt and there were some ideas there. I've only done that block (12") for samplers.

I just don't know how to put it all together to make it look nice. :(

Wendi, are you stopping at the four 20" blocks? You could put them on point and have a complimenting fabric in between.

If you scroll down the page a little, it show a detail of the on point card trick blocks.

My card trick quilt is made with 6 card trick blocks and I made the alternate blocks black so that the trick blocks really stood out. This is for my son who "likes" black lol. But it would be pretty using a color that would compliment your blocks and let them stand out.
