Carolina Christmas quilt by Bonnie Hunter
I am trying to get the pattern for Bonnie Hunter's Carolina Christmas quilt and would like to see what it looks like. I have searched her site and have not been able to find a picture of her quilt.
Can anyone post a picture of the Carolina Christmas quilt or the Christmas lights quilt? And tell me where to find the patterns? |

Her "Carolina Crossroads" pattern is in the Scraps & Shirttails book. Here is a link that shows the pattern(s) in that book:
http://www.softexpressions.com/softw...ks/4K10904.php I found this link that references "Carolina Christmas Quilt" and a poinsettia-block-only variation: http://www.shirleyannesheart.com/201...s-and-bangles/ Just scanning the two patterns, it seems to me they are not the same. I found a reference to a "Carolina Christmas Mystery" quilt follow-on in 2010 and, by Googling, found this website which seems to have a link to the pattern directions online: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2009/...as-part-1.html OK, my final edit here. I couldn't get to Part 1 (maybe didn't wait long enough for it to load), but did get to Part 6 which shows a picture of the pattern. This seems to be consistent with the poinsettia website above. Here is a link to Part 6: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2009/...as-part-6.html p.s. Dakotamaid is correct. "Carolina Christmas" is in Scraps & Shirttails II. My link was to the first book (Scraps & Shirttails). http://quiltville.blogspot.com/p/mystery-quilts.html |
