I'm new to quilting but wanted to say: Love the colors! Great job!

lay a piece of fabric where all the fabric meets, hit it with a mallet to flatten the bulk.

You can't really see it in the picture. Maybe a good pressing would help. Sometimes if it looks like you will have a lot of seams meeting in the same spot, you might press away from the darker fabric or press them open to cut down on the layers.

P.S. I really do like the colors and it looks great.
