Ok Samifel, I did forget about the pillows, I'll have to remember that, 18' right
and I forgot about adding the 1/2 inch to each block, oh boy what else did I forget LOL

Nono sweetie, that was 18 INCHES from the top of the mattress... You must have a MIGHTY big bed! <grin>

You would have to mathematically figure out how big to make each piece of the star to get it to the size you want. It takes a little time but worth it in the end.

Has anyone figured amount of fabric needed to make this in Queen size?

I did this one for my nephew...it is really easy...
