Carpenter's Star pattern

Does anyone have a pattern for a large carpenter's star, queen-sized quilt? I'm looking for one with just one large star on the quilt, and not several smaller stars. Prefer squares and triangles only.

Google and ye shall find!

There's lots of bed size single CS patterns online
Or you can just take a regular pattern and make the blocks whatever size you want.

Someone on this board created a pattern, you can use any size block you want.

:thumbup:Perfect link, Raggiemom! You can use the chart and make the star as large as you want. Nice chart stitchinbee!

A queen bed is 60" wide so if you want the star to just be on top, you'll need the finished HSTs to be 7 1/2" because the star is 8 blocks wide. Then you can add borders for the drop - more on the ends, of course. Or you can use 11" blocks and the star will extend over the edges and won't need a border on the sides.

I put a braided border on mine. Let me know if you want the link.
