Cathedral Ornament pattern?

Does anyone know where there is a free pattern to something like this? I was looking for a semi quick semi easy ornament to make for a few family members this year. I like this but do not have extra money atm... my quilting fund is going to diapers hehe. It doesnt have to be exactly like this either just something similar. Thanks so much!!!

Golly....that looks even harder than I thought it would be. Maybe I need to pick an easier pattern heh. Thank you so much for sharing. I definitely want to learn this technique though. It is gorgeous! I am just not sure I can do it before Christmas! ;D

Hi,
It really isn't a hard pattern, it is a tad time consuming, tho...lol...For making ornaments, it should go pretty quick, and if you stitch the curves by hand, that is a portable craft that you can work on anywhere, eh??..In addition to the great tut on here, if you google cathedral window quilt block pattern, you will find several ways to do it, all along the same lines, but different techniques from different people... Lastly, thanks for the link, as I think I may have to tweak them and come up with something, too...
Good Luck,
Kif

As Kiffie said, it's NOT really hard. I taught it to a bunch of kids after learning it myself. Does take a little time to do each step but well worth it.

I like this one the best! I don't see a pattern on the web site. Do you know if there is one available?
Thanks!

The 10 minute block is a close approximation to the Cathedral Windows block and is a whole lot easier and less time consuming.
