totally different machine.

Last time I looked, the Singer site had deleted a lot of the information they used to have, including model number!

Singer 99s are great little machines, but they are not featherweights. They are heavy, despite their smaller size. There is lots of information about them online, including downloadable manuals.

Enjoy your new machine. :-D

Hi again all, this is so much fun...I just wanted you to know that I found out my 99K was made in Scotland in 1955. It is so cool to me because I am Scottish and came to America as a young bride scared to death!!! Should not have worried, have a great hubby and we are looking at 41 years together this November:)
Sooooo having a sewing machine that was made at home when I was a wee lassie is very very cool:):)
