my whole family met at the casino buffet last night for a special (birthday surprise party) for my daughter (she turned 36)
there were 14 of us...including her mother in law & my mom---and her daughters of course.
anyway- after eating & blowing out candles ect---she started opening gifts- saved the one from me for last---
by now it was 6:30 on a friday night---place was sort of busy---she wound up holding it up-showing everyone in the room!
yes she did love it---even decided instead of going out to the movies she was going to go home & put in a movie at home so she could (snuggle) up with it :)
great success! and i'm glad it's over!
i did get lots of WOW's---which is (for me) the best part of quilting- i'm a show off----i love hearing the 'gasp' when one of my quilts are unfolded in front of a room full of people :)
