Hi everyone: My name is Sibble, new to this message board. Does anyone have any ideas or patterns for celtic themes? My daughter is Irish, marrying an Irish gentleman, and I want to make a quilt for the wedding. Would love to fine patterns for celtic knots for the border.

Thanks... :

Hi Pat:
Thanks for your reply. I did see the show on Simply Quilts....which really inspired me. I need something for the borders though and was thinking of the celtic knots. I have a book of monograms which I will browse through for the center initial.

Thanks, Sibble

Sibble, also check online resources by using google. Enter Celtic Quilting Patterns. You may be surprised what pops up.

Thanks for the tip. I have a granddaughter getting married and was thinking of a Celtic quilt but can't get past the Kelly Green fabric I bought to get it started. Would a whole cloth quilt in that color be too bright? I'm thinking mixing a green print that's compatible with the main color and then a cream. But, I'm stumped. I'll try Google.
