Just found out today that JOANN's is moving from South Locust in Grand Island to the Conestoga Mall where the theater used to be. The move date is sometime in October. Just a "heads up".

The Conestoga needs some stores. When I was there last year it was sad looking. I liked it on Locust, though, because when we visit the in laws we stay at a hotel down that way and I can walk to it.

Heard that too. But it still will be very handy when I head to the State Fair!

OH ya. My hubby volunteers most days of the fair so I'm on my own. The store is close enough to walk. :)

North Platte. Anyone going to State Quilt Guild this weekend in Kearney? I'll be there.

I think we'll be there with SIL and MIL in tow. Saturday, and just for a couple of hours, not for classes just the quilt show.

Do you have to be a member to just go to the quilt show?

No and they will have vendors from across the state.
