I wish I could find a place like that to take donations. In clearing my mother's house, I have more than I know what to do with.

That really is the wonderful thing about the store, and how I began going to it. I belong to a quilt ministry....we receive a lot of donated fabric....not too many people know what kind of fabric it takes to make quilts....so we had yards and yards of polyester and rayon and....well you can just imagine....that's when someone told me about donating it to Bits & Pieces. They will accept any craft supplies so if you happen to walk in on a good day...you might find someone's quilt stash or bead stash. I've been in some days when there isn't a piece of cotton fabric in the store.

I went to their Bits & Pieces old shop a couple of years ago, got some good buys. I'll have to stop next time I visit my granddaughter there. I know they don't have regular hours.

I just took loads of stuff there. We are cleaning out the house to sell. I feel good about taking my stuff there because crafters will use it. Love the place. They use to be on the main street but moved for more room. The ladies are wonderful

Hi Annie,
I'm from near Rochester, too. Great place to find who knows what! We have some terrific sewing/fabric centers around here, huh? |
You're right....we do. I shop at Mt. Pleasant quilt shop a lot.
