Charm pack quit pattern?

Do you have a favorite charm pack quilt pattern? If so please share. I found a bright pack I'd like to do something with. I haven't purchased it yet because I wasn't sure what to make with it.

Thanks-

Thanks for posting the links to those lovely charm pack quilts - now they're on my to-do list too. Ginger - let us know what you make!

I have two that I like and have made (and want to make again). One is called "diamond delight" and is found in the book Charmed, I'm Sure by Lesley Chaisson. The other one is in the book Nickel Quilts and Borders (can't put my hands on it right now) and looks like a hopscotch board. I did both of these scrappy, so they may not be what you are looking for.

I cant find the printable instructions.
Just printed 22 pages of nothing and replys.
I used to be able to print out the instructions for their patterns but not now.

Are you talking about on the Moda Bake shop pages? If you scroll down to the end of the tutorial, right before all the comments there should be a something that looks like a printer and the words "Printer Friendly version" click on the words and it will open a new window and then you can print it there

Try to post a picture of D9P made with charms.
For some reason all my pictures decided to enlarge themselves so changed the size on this one.

Ohhh, Rose Marie, thank you for posting your picture. Your quilt is lovely. I love the charm pack I saw, but didn't purchase it yet. Maybe this weekend I'll run back at get it.

Thanks much!

Lately I've been intrigued by the X and O pattern that Jenny over at Missouri Star Quilt Company demonstrated on Youtube. It is so simple but looks great. It uses 5 inch squares of prints and half as many plain 5 inch squares. I think I want to do one using scrap 5 inch squares and white on white 5 inch plain squares.

Love the Indian Hatchet! I've looked at Quilter's Cache 100 times, but have never noticed this pattern. Yet another to add to my bucket list!

Or if you right click on that link, you can "save target as" a .pdf file (which is how I do it)

I am in love with that quilt! What size is it? How many charm packs did it take? LOVE IT!

I have both of those books, too, & have yet to make a single quilt from them!

Missouri Star Quilt Co has video tutorials for using charm packs and other per-cut sizes.

Rose Marie 05-23-2012 06:00 AM

It has been a long time since I made that quilt so dont remember the details.
I did not use packs of charms but made my own from fabric. It is not a scappy quilt.
I am thinking about making one from charm packs.
I always buy charm packs in threes since one pack will not make much but maybe a table runner.
