The bulb is around $34.00 or $37.00 in that range!!! I have one just like it. Don't bother buying the GE bulb that looks exactly like the one that goes in these lamps, they will not work. I have tried it. These lamps are not worth buying.

Our WalMart never marks anything down that far anymore. They seldom mark anything down more than a couple of $, if that much.
