I know don't scold me. Just notice a choc smudge on the fab I'm doing redwork on. Any idea how to spot clean it off? Piece is only 12*12 so if I have to retrace pattern, it's ok. Just would rather not.

try a little oxyclean in water. might just dab it off!

Gonna try it. Thanks for the tip.

M&Ms melt in your mouth, not in your hand.

If there's still a grease spot after it's washed try some Greased Lightning on it. I had a blouse that had been washed and dried at least 4 times I tried it on and it took the spot right out.

Whatever you do, don't wash and put in dryer or it will set the stain.

I recommend Oxyclean too. Never used the new spray one I heard someone say is out there. In fact, I have never seen it. Just make up a bit of Oxy and warm water, dab on, let sit, rinse, dab again, set, rinse, until gone.

I think I'd wait til I'd finished the redwork and then work at getting rid of the chocolate.

Dawn dish soap? Works great on chocolate and other greasier stains :D:D:D
