Chocoliner for marking????
 

I have always used the white and have been more than satisfied,
however, today I used the yellow on white fabric and I can see
where it is still there. Does this come off? I will be heartbroken
if it does not. Why would they sell this if it is not water soluble.
Anyone have this problem and if so, Please, how did you remove
it.

I have had problems with both the blue and yellow.

I had problems with the gray. Can't get it out. Washed, rewashed, tried fabric eraser, stain removers, various hints from Mr Google. Nothing has worked for me

I've had problems with all three of the aforementioned colors (blue, yellow, and grey.) Used them on a couple of rag quilts and none of them washed out. Completely ruined the quilts! I was so mad - they were supposed to be Christmas gifts for my grandsons. :mad:

The only markers I use now are the Crayola Ultra-Clean markers. Never had a problem removing any of the colors, even after ironing them.

I guess I'm lucky because the yellow one is the only one I use and have for years without a problem. I always prewash my fabrics, I wonder if that makes any difference?

I prewash all of my fabrics too.

I ran across this the other day to remove oil from clothing. They have shown many uses. Maybe try on a scrap and see if soda and vinegar or a paste of water and soda might work. http://www.stain-removal-101.com/use...king-soda.html

There have been many posts here warning against using the yellow or the blue powdered chalk. The white is the only thing that comes off easily. If you read the directions on the package, it states to test on fabric. We are all in a rush to get items done for Xmas. I have never been able to get the Clover blue chalk out of a quilt that I made.

I have used different colors of chalk for marking. First I prewash all fabric. I do test the fabric before washing and after washing. I use felt to wipe the chalk away. Chalk has a starch effect. So it dries to a fine paste in between the fibers. If you're done quilting a certain section then wipe it with an eraser like you would a chalk board. An unused make up brush works also.
