not done yet but working on it I posted about this a few days for a baby girl quilt http://www.sewweird.com/VintageBabyAnimalTrain.htm this is what I got done so far I'm open for suggestions what else I can do I was thinking pinwheels I'm still planning a ruffle

Pinwheels would look nice . How about a set of praire points around the edge.

I think any pieced block going around as a border would look good - love the idea of pinwheels which will look adorable with the ruffle. It is a DARLING quilt. Everytime I see it I think I have to do that! Alas too many projets.

Oh my! That is simply the most adorable baby quilt I've seen in a long time. I don't know what size it is right now..... how much more do you need to add? I think pinwheels would be very cute..... or any simple block that won't detract from the embroidered blocks. Do let us see the finished project..... can't wait.

I JUST bought that pattern! I love love love it! Can't wait to see your ruffles and hope to start on one soon. Very nice so far, I am sure it will be wonderful finished.
