I used to always bind with the same fabric as the last border. Lately I sometimes use one of the other fabrics in the quilt for some contrast, it depends on the quilt. The most recent binding was a scrappy binding on 2 quilts that I used 19 different fabrics. I pieced together 8" lengths of all of the fabrics and made a scrappy binding....love it!
