Christmas Drawstring Bag pattern recommendations??
I am (finally) going to get started on making re-usable fabric Christmas gift bags!
I do love wrapping but I find increasingly I just don't have the time or patience to get that big chore done. Especially for stocking stuffers... Can anyone recommend a good basic pattern? I'd prefer drawstring with finished/hidden raw edges but that may be tooooo much work! Many thanks and Merry, Merry! |
This is a fancy one but really nice. It's a gift in itself. I double the size for big ones.

I you make french seams, the seams would be finished and it is not a tremendous amount of work.

I have been using the pattern which uses 2 fat quarters from Sister Chicks Quilting: https://sisterchicksquilting.wpcomst...g-Gift-Bag.pdf
Very easy. I have been added boxed corners. |
Here's one on All People Quilt. https://www.allpeoplequilt.com/holid...9-18605608306a

My grandaughters like little bags to keep there small toys and dolls in and this seems easier than making zippered pouches. I think I'll make a few for Xmas gifts. |
So many good ideas. Bookmarked the links and ready to dive into my holiday fabric.....soon.

My granddaughter uses one I made to hold her chargers, earbuds, USB sticks, etc. She said she gets asked all the time where did you find that bag.
