Christmas Gift Ideas

It's that time of the year when I start thinking about small handmade Christmas gifts. Need some new ideas for this year. Have made pot holders, pillow cases, casserole carriers, purses, table runners. Last year I made cell phone holders which was well received. Let's share ideas!

These criss cross coasters are fun and easy, and we have also used bigger squares and Insulbrite to make pot holders the same way.

I received a small rectangle shape chair pillow last year and I love it. It is duck cotton with machine embroidery sewing motifs on front.

I saw this pattern that was a remake from the sixties. It is called a Hug, Shrug and a Flirt. It is something to keep your shoulders covered. So cute! It looks easy and something that I know I would use to keep my shoulders warm during the winter while watching tv.

I'm making cosmetic bags and matching zipper tissue holders this year.

I like the earbud keychain the best. I guess people still use them??

I bought a vintage children's tea set and made pincushions out of the cups and sugar bowl. You could do the same with other small bits of china.

Have you done the potholder/tea towel hanger for the oven handle?
