Christmas in July Oops Make that September

Our quilting circle usually has a meeting in July where we share ideas for easy Christmas patterns. However, this year we cancelled our meeting due to the Fourth of July. Now it is scheduled for September and my mind is drawing a blank. Anyone out there have a suggestion for easy projects for Christmas?

My go to is Moda Bakeshop - they have great ideas and really easy - everything is made with pre cuts (you can cut your own) - go to www.modabakeshop.com and check it out.

Some of my presents will be uncirculated WW2 stamps 4 or 6 each, mounted and framed. A couple of the stamps are going to have a FQ for the background, others will have a simple velvet mount. Background will be selected for the colors in the stamps. All the money will be spent on the beautiful frames - not too large, giving in sets of 2. Found the stamps when I was going through my mother's things. I was really surprised that they aren't worth much, but are so attractive. Another advantage of downsizing and getting rid of stored boxes.

Try Missouri Star Quilt Co. tutorials...there was a cute Christmas tree table runner. Or try the "Summer in the Park" tube quilt in warm traditional Christmas colors, bright contemporary greens/reds/aquas or icy blues/snowflakes.

Question? For yourself, for family & friends, for a craft sale, for exchange??????
