Christmas stocking pattern??
Does anyone know where I can find a really nice Christmas stocking pattern?
I'm already thinking about next year, and hoping to find a pattern with a cuff on top, so I can embroidery a name on it. Thanks! |
I just drew mine out on paper til I got to the size and shape I was happy with.
If you have an old stocking, use it for a starter, and then go to the shape/size you want. |
The one I use is from McCalls. It was an on-line pattern. Very nice size, and can add the heel and toe pieces (dfferent color/fabic), and the stocking has a cuff as well.

If you go to http://mccallpattern.mccall.com and click on free patterns, there is one there that I think Deb was referring to.
They also have a sale on this one that gives a lot of options: http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m299...ay&list=search |
Got mine from Fabricworm; made 31 of those.
