Christmas tree quilt pattern

I recently saw a quilt at a Christmas open house that was a large Christmas tree made of a lot of log cabin blocks on a solid cream background. No one knew anything about the pattern. Does anyone here recognize it? It was a full size quilt and not a wall hanging.

Is that it? It is easy do...just study the picture a few minutes and you'll be able to figure it out. I made many years and years ago as gifts. . It still looks nice today. Sometimes they are best when NOT using Christmas fabrics. Just regular greens and reds. There is a wreath pattern that is made in the same theme..also very easy to make.

I like the bow centered at the bottom best.

Hope that helps you out.

Here is one that I made years ago. One of my first using xmas fabrics. I think with NON christmas fabrics they can look even better. I then made a bunch that way.

I love the wreath and will get that pattern. I think I could do this wall hanging by Christmas of this year so the Christmas tree pattern can wait a while. Thanks

That wreath was my first quilting project many years ago. It is a quilt-in-a-day pattern.

Many moons ago, when my children were still little, I made one that was on the cover of "Good Housekeeping". It was a log cabin Christmas tree and the directions were inside. It was made of reds and greens and the first square in each log cabin was gold. It was hand tied on the gold with thin red ribbon to look like gifts. We still put it up every Christmas season (my daughter is now 40). Actually, except for the binding, it looks very much like the one nygal referred to:
http://quiltersdiary.com/log-cabin-q...allery/?pid=41. Mine did not have borders, only an inch binding.
