Hi! This is first post(except for the Introduce Yourself topic) and not sure if I'm posting a question in the right place. I'm looking for quilt patterns for a Christmas tree skirt. I found a skirt I liked in the newest issue of Keepsake Quilter p.77, Santa Town but it was part of kit and the pattern wasn't sold seperately.
I would like an octagonal shape if I can find one. Sure appreciate the help! Chris

You could use a pattern for a table topper and just add more rows (and leave a hole in the middle for the tree trunk and not sew together the one side seam). I've seen several nice ones on this board.

Check the 'search' feature at the top of the page and type in 'tree skirt' and 'table topper' and see what comes up.

I checked out that tree skirt on the Keepsake Quilting website. There's no pattern to sell because it's a pre-printed panel.

Here's a link to a free pattern that might work for you.

Enter in search tree skirt patterns and it will bring up lots that folks have already found. The search is at the top of this page.

Hi! thanks for the help and looking for the topic in search was something I hadn't thought to do. Some great ideas there.
Sorry I didn't notice that the kit from Keepsake was actually a panel. I went back and read the description! I just looked at the skirt, and liked it. Take care, Chris

There's one on the moda bake shop site. It's sort of octagonal.
