I am nearly finished with my Christmas Celebrations Tree skirt with the Judy Neimeyer pattern. On one of the last steps I could not figure out what I was doing wrong...I was following the directions EXACTLY! finally I decided if I follow exactly and it does not work out, then there must be a problem with the directions. Sure enough...sew the right side on first, not the left side. I contacted the company who said they would post it to the several pages of corrections already up on the website. I still love her patterns inspite of the occasional errors.

I hope to get it finished today...well the piecing that is! It is ver pretty but it sure is big. I think I could have managed just fine by leaving the last two rounds off of it. Hope to post it soon.

Sounds interesting. I have found pattern errors and notified the publisher, also.

Avatar quilt is a Judy Neimeyer pattern also. Thank you. Guess I will go pin the last rows on to the skirt, then sew it together. It always takes longer than you think it will, doesn't it? then maybe I can figure out how to post a photo. It is so big...not used to having a 60 inch tree skirt.
