Did anyone go to Spring Festival in Cincinnati?
|
I did go with the quilt quild ladies on a charter bus.
The show was very large. so much to see and buy. I was there just for the mid day hours. I didn't get upstairs to see the quilts that were on display. Our group stopped at a quilt store on the way down. I thought it was kind of a strange thing to do since most of us were anxious to see the quilt show. Had a good time. Spent too much money. What the heck!! Now I have to stay away from joans and connecting threads til my funds get replenished a little. chris |
I DID! I DID!!! Spent money and had a blast! Hubby went to it with me and helped take pix for me while I shopped. What a trooper.
Took some pix of the quilts and have to say that there were alot of quilts that I thought to myself, why did they waste their time on that. But that's just my personal opinion. Have to say that I was unaware that there were quilts "upstairs". Did get thru each booth tho. Katt :) |
Did you go to the Bigfork Bay Cotton Company booth?
|
I checked out most all booths. Can you tell me what they had or approximately where they were? It's all a blur to me now -- sorry!
This was only my 2nd time at the International Festival. I was lucky to go in 09 in Chicago. WOW - wish I had an endless supply of money! |
I was there! I posted some pics just tonight.
I was surprised that there weren't more quilts to look at. I felt that the vendors almost overwhelmed the quilts, but they were wonderful to visit, and a magnet for money! |
Bigfork Bay Cotton Company were in row 1000.
They were right up front. They had Dancing Chickens, Crows wit red shoes, Elephants, Zebra's Giraffes Horses... |
I remember them now that you said that!!!
I need to upload my pix of the quilts that I took of the ones that I really liked! |
