Circles Sew Simple?
 

Has anyone bought/tried the circles sew simple tool from Nancys Notions? I saw a repeat show about it and I'm interested in ordering it. It makes circles from 2" - 27" if I remember correctly. I like the quilt that they did on the show very much, looks like it would be fast and fairly easy to do. Here is a link to the video if anyone is interested.

I have an attachment similar to the second one shown. I can't make 27" circles, but the ones I can make are plenty big enough. BUT, whatever method you choose, it is a blast to sew circles this way. I keep planning on making a quilt with a circle theme, but always seem to have something else at my machine.

Thanks for the link. I don't know if I would use the tool, but I liked the first method of just using a tac.

I use the Cheryl Phillips rulers, not only can you cut all sizes of circles but you can also cut the square to put them in with only 8 pins needed.

I have the circle attachment that was made by Brother for my machine. I've made a couple small quilts with it and also quilted a lap sized quilt. I'll try to post the picture of one which I did the embroidery for and then appliqued using the circle attachment.

I can make stitched circles using fancy machine stitches up to the throat size is radius for nothing. All you need is a drawing pin.

From the pictures . Tape with inches marked from the needle.
Drawing pin positioned at radius distance from needle
Centre of circle on the drawing pin which you tape down and pick stitch and just press foot and go. May need to keep finger on pin to stop centre jumping up.

Move pin for different sizes,
