The City Quilter
Hi ladies, and gentlemen,
If any of you are in the New York City area and visit The City Quilter on a Wednesday or Friday, look for me. I got a part time job there. Started yesterday. I had never worked retail and had no idea what to expect. It is crazy! I was on my feet all day long and busy all the time. Loved it, though. Met many people, helped many others and I am sure I created a monster when this lady came with questions about making her first quilt. By the time she came out, she was hooked. And I get 25% discount on top of that! I am tired, but loved it. |
Congratulations on the new job. I'd probably end up owing them money at the end of the week instead of them paying me.

To far to come in, Congrats. enjoy!!!

Congratulations! Keep feeding those fabric addicts! I used to work in Manhattan and remember when they first opened. Haven't been to the City in about 10 years. Maybe someday I'll get down there, and I'll be sure to look you up. I agree w/ ksdot417- I'd never have a paycheck!

Oh, enjoy yourself!

Will certainly keep that in mind, though when I go into the City it's usually on a Saturday. Do you belong to the Empire Quilt Guild? I don't, but my cousin does. Lots of luck on your new job. Have fun!

Congrats! That would be my dream job. I've been there before; maybe I'll see you in June when we are in NY!
|
Congrats on the job! I hope to get up there soon.
|
Was so happy to see you at the store - congratulation on the new job. Barb

Congrats on the new job! Like working in a restaurant while trying to lose weight... I'd never see a paycheck & end up paying them. Oh, but it would be great! :)
