I loooove all these beautiful quilts. I have a craftsy class that I watched (but never sewed on) about Civil War quilts. It's full of beautiful blocks to sew up. One of these days I'll do just that. ;)

I purchased Civil War Legacies by Carol Hopkins and I really love the patterns in it. Also, here is a picture of the top I am working on now, in civil war fabrics. It's a stand alone pattern by Whistlepig Creek. It's going together pretty easily.

Have you seen the civil ware quilt books? There are great ones that we have seen. I've made blocks from Barbara Brackmans book. http://www.amazon.com/Barbara-Brackm...war+quilt+book

I almost bought this book, and changed my mind because most of the block patterns do not actually date to the CW period. Most were published in the 1930's. The quilts within are lovely, though, and made with CW reproduction fabrics.
