Clarification about using elmer's glue
Just need to dblck this....I've saved all the threads about it but can't find this answer. If I use it to baste a baby quilt, will it wash out in cold water or does it need to be warm or hot? Thanks!!

Elmers washable school glue washes out equally well in cold, warm, or hot water (I've tried all temps). I use a front-loading HE washer which uses less water than a top-loader, and all the Elmers school glue washes out beautifully.

I usually wash in warm water. So far it has washed out.

Check the quilt after washing, because it doesn't always wash out on the first try. I used it when binding a quilt, and after washing I found that the binding was still stiff in several places because of the glue. It came out in the second wash. This was in a top loader with lots of water, but the quilt was fairly large.
