I've taken some of their free quilting classes, BOM for 2013 and 2014 and paper piecing with Carol Doak and I've been very pleased with the classes, especially the fact that you can take your class whenever you like and go back as many times as you would like. I'd recommend them.

love the 2 classes i have taken - Joe Cunningham's class is on design process - and he goes through several ways he has created quilts. he is more of an art quilter but his ideas are easily adaptable to any type of quilting.
Joen Wolfrom's class is on color theory - some of it is more geared to art quilts - but again useful info for any type of quilter. I bought them when they were on sale - so I haven't had the time to try some of the techniques and exercises they recommend. hopefully i will have that time in the next week or 2.

I have also taken classes at Craftsy and I liked them; have not paid for any classes lately been taking advantage of the free mini classes they offer.

Love their classes, Just signed up for one a few minutes ago. A real bargain a 49.00 class for 14.99. My kind of savings. Always a good teacher for the ones I have taken and I always wait for a sale. Good luck with what ever you choose.

I also have taken a lot of their classes including Big quilt on small machine and learned a lot. The only problem I have is getting the class to play sometimes. I play it on google chrome and it's supposed to be ok but sooner or later I get a time I guess not to many people on. I also wait for their classes to be on sale can get more fabric or more classes. I have taken "Quilting Big Projects on a Small Machine" by Ann Peterson. It is really helpful if you are interested in quilt-as-you-go. Ann Petersen is a terrific teacher----very clear and thorough.

Craftsy is the BEST!! I have all the free classes and A LOT that I've purchased. I'm never disappointed. They DO have a 30 days refund policy so it's a win-win situation!!

I have taken over 25 classes...mostly on FMQing and just love them! I Always buy them on sale, too. Every time I go to quilt a sandwich I review them and get ideas. I don't necessarily do their projects, but the knowledge and tips are priceless!

I've taken a few, but usually fall asleep and have to start over again!! Do they have free classes often? How can I find out about them?

I have signed up for 2 or 3 and have enjoyed them all. The first was on landscape quilts and I loved it. It was easy to follow and nice to be able to go back and revisit each step as you are completing it. They also have free block of the month club from the previous years. No harm doing them since they are free and you do learn blocks you may not have done before.
