You won't hear much from me for awhile. My daughter & family live in Alaska, and are down for the summer. They will arrive sometime tomorrow. (Monday). So today I have been cleaning, especially my sewing room. My grandson will be in here for a week, then off and on for the summer. So, the machine is covered and moved to the back of the table, the chair has gone to the cellar, the floor is all pickied up, everything stuffed into the bookcase. The computer table is all neatened up. Have to make room for the folding cot he sleeps on, and a little living space for him. Vacuumed, no little threads around. It looks so good I may never sew in here again!! (LOL)

You wait and see, you will be itching to get back in there again when you start to have withdrawal symptoms from not sewing your quilts, you will have to start a hand piecing project till you can get back in there! Lol
Enjoy your family near.

I hope you will still find some time to do some quilting...or you might go into withdrawal! And that might make you buy more fabric...oh my!

Hi I just joined this site. Boy does this sound familiar. My daughter is home for a while with my grandsons (3 & 19mo). My sewing room was also cleaned and machine moved. I was sure to let the family know that there had to be a place to set up my machine. The boys know not to play with grandma's toy. So far so good and the oldest one even sits on my lap and helps sew.

have fun and enjoy your family, I hope you get to sew some during the summer so you won't have withdrawls as this is good therapy!
