hmmmm, good point... during the school sales, the white was less expensive than the clear

i haven't tried Elmer's glue! I have heard of local sand castle builders spraying their creations with a mist of diluted glue....that might work with quilting.

I have also heard of using the school glue when stitching on binding to the back.
Some people like it for zippers.
