I only use an 80/12 or 70/10 needle, polyester monofilament in top and regular thread in bottom. Spool is fussy unless i put it behind the machine in a large, deep coffee cup. Has to move on its own. I also loosen the tension just a tad. I check each of these things when I use this thread, and have no problems.

I had to find the correct size needle and then didn't have any problems. That worked for me...

Don't use the cutter it will really mess it up. Voice of experience!

I must be thread challenged....never had any luck with any of the clear/black monofiliment or whatever type plastic threads....drove me nuts so they left to a friend that loved them and knew how to make them work.

Personally, I won't use the clear thread.
