Clips to sandwich layer on 6 foot table

Anyone know where to buy clips that could be used to keep bottom of layer taunt?

I have seen clips that look like the ones you would use to hold down a tablecloth. Or just try those.

you can try Binder Clips

I use wood clamps for this. I like how they hold the fabric taut yet not so much pressure that might stretch the fabric. I have found these at Sears and local Ace Hardware. Hoping to give you a link to an Amazon item that is similar. I like these and would order if I ever need more. Great Neck 21033 Essentials 12 Piece Spring Clamp Set
Doesn't look like it linked but you can look it up with item name.

This is what I use. Have big binder clamps but they don't fit over the edge of my table

I like to use ratcheting clamps that I got at Menard's (and I'm sure Home Depot carries them too). They come in different sizes. I found them in the aisle along with other types of clamps. Don't have a photo of mine, but they are somewhat similar to these:

The ratchet makes it very easy to tighten and loosen in small increments. The depth allows for a deep table. Mine are made of plastic and the plastic grips are gentle on the table; plus the ratcheting allows me to tighten just enough and not too much.

I use these. They aren't very cheap, but they're very kind to fabric.

if your table is one inch thick, Eleanor Burns of Quilt In A Day sells some. but if skinnier or thicker, big binder clips work well enough. My thumbs are shot so i can't use binder clips anymore.

It really depends on how thick your table is.
My suggestion is for you to just buy a few, to try, before buying many to make sure they will work with your table. Binder clamps work fine on one of my tables, but even the big ones do not spring wide enough for the other table.

You don't really need the heavy duty carpentry type clamps, unless that is all that will fit.

The type photo'd in the Home Depot link, I got at 2 for $ at the $ $tore, so keep your eyes open.

Til you get your clamps, painter's tape works just fine!
