I tried them. While I liked them I found they "slipped off sometimes. I haven't used them in some time. Went back to pins.

I use the hair clips from the dollar store.

Yes,they are strong and don't get in the way. I bought a small package and wish I had gone for the 50.

I use these clips instead of pins when piecing too. They lay so nice and flat and hold the fabric so firmly.

I use them and really like them. I used to use the clips that were originally used to make pin curls in you hair and they worked well. With the new clips your thread does not get caught as they sometimes did on the hair clips.

I haven't tried them by the owner of the LQS mentioned them in class today. I'd love to have some but they're kind of pricy. I have the hairclips which I purchased years ago.

I like the clover brand so I'll bet these will be good, they make the sharpest best seam ripper I have!

I absolutely love them! I'm using them on my current project where I'm using connecting sashing for my QAYG queen size quilt. They keep the material neatly while I stitch, also use them to hold my quilting stencil in place. Haven't used them for binding yet, but that is coming next. I bought two boxes of 50 and so far I' very very pleased. Can't say that about all the gadgets out there.
