...or, "How to make even the loudest fabrics play nice with each other". This is a dead easy pattern I remember seeing on television some years ago, when I was hospitalized with cellulitis in my left leg. You can throw color rules to the wind and just have fun.
All the pattern consists of is 5 1/2" center squares, and 2 1/2" strips ("worms"). That's all. You sew the 2 1/2" strips to the sides of the squares Courthouse Steps style once to create a block. Oh boy, time for me to break out the camera and a quilt top in progress, using this very pattern. :) I'd strongly suggest it as a charity quilt pattern, as it works up VERY quickly and can make even the fabrics that usually want to "fight" play nice :-) |
sounds like a pattern I need to make, since I donate 98% of my quilts.

sounds neat. is there a picture?

if I can find the quilt top in progress of mine, then yes. *LOL* Failing that, I could work up something on PSP5, Paint, or EQ6.
