Love your quilt! I'd start with a small light border. Then maybe find a multi-colored print that takes in many of the colors. Maybe something geometric or something like that. Something that would tie in the colors and frame the quilt.

I like white for it, same as the background.
|
I try to use a different color or at least a lighter shade of color not in the center. then go from there to achieve the size I want it to be.
BTW it is beautiful. |
Pretty top! I's do a smaller turquoise border, followed by a larger dark (blue) border. Please do show us what you decide on. :)

I like a narrower - 1.5 inch finished of the white in your quilt and then an outside border. It like the piano key border. You could have corner blocks of the pinwheels in the 4 corners.
I also like finding a larger print that has the colors of the pinwheels in for something different. Whatever you decide, use a color that is already in the pinwheels vs adding a new color in there. |
I would do a dark narrow border-maybe a dark blue-then a yellow, turquoise or orange wide border
|
I would definitely use a pale light colored (even the background color) border then the sky is the limit with what you put as the final border. I would also consider using a pinwheel cornerstone on the border. Great job.
|
You could also do each side of the border in a different color pulled from the quilt. It would continue the scrappy look.
|
I would use a turquoise narrow border and then a darker print border that has the colors in it. Pretty quilt!
