I buy my color catches at Walmart. Since I don't have a washer and dryer anymore, I have to use the apt laundry facilities so they are a life saver.

You might just have to search for another name than "color catcher"! If I found it in my small, local supermarket, I'm sure you will, too!

Have a look at this product for example (cheaper than the other one, but still pricey): http://www.amazon.ca/Carbona-474-Col...YVY2KQZK4AG3TQ

Your listing is for 12 boxes of 24 sheets. Here is another listing for 5 boxes of 24 sheets for $29.99. http://www.amazon.ca/Shout-Color-Cat...F8B5TFDGVQR4YZ

I purchased colour absorbers from sew sisters in ontario. http://store.sew-sisters.com/stores_...&Item_ID=12966

I realize these seem a bit pricey as well, but I don't use many of them and was so frustrated not to be able to find them in Canada. There are many things not available to us in Canada, but I can't be bothered with the border nuisance and extra costs involved.

I agree...too much hassle with customs. We can't get freezer paper here in this area. Can you find it in your area? Such a nuisance not being able to buy what you need at a local place.
I will check out your link but first I will try the supermarkets top see if they carry something similar to color catchers.

What part of B.C. do you live?
I have relatives in Langley.

I buy the Dr. Beckmann's colour and dirt collectors at the local Superstore. There are 30 sheets on a box. I think I pay about $4.89 for them.

Hi Tapper. I live in Maple Ridge which is just across the river from Langley. We have a new bridge between Pitt Meadows (on the border of MR) over to Langley. I can get freezer paper in our supermarkets on the paper isle. I purchase it in a roll. I order fabric from Sew Sisters and have found them to be really good to deal with, and their shipping charges are very reasonable. They also have lots of marked down fabrics. If its impossible for you to find freezer paper, I could mail a roll to you. Where in Canada do you live?

I am in eastern Canada. My brother and his wife live in Langley. His wife works shifts as a nurse in Washington, as well as in Canada.

Tapper,
If you can't find colour catchers at a reasonable price, PM me, I might be able to help.
Re the freezer paper - Walmart in my area carries it and the grocery stores do too - some restaurant supply places do too and as a last resort - a butcher will have it.

Thanks for the offer.
A butcher may be the best place to look for freezer paper...never thought about that.
