Color opinions, please

I finished putting the borders on my hexie I-spy blocks. The fabrics are supposed to be lion-ish colors. In the center of the left ones is an off-whitish border. When I tested out the blocks, it seems to stick out like a sore thumb. In the center of the right is a beige-ish border. But when I put it together, it almost looks too pink. What are your thoughts? I don't really have any other solids, so I'd have to buy something else and I'm trying to work only from my stash.

I think it works great. As long as you scatter it in a few times here and there that will bring bring some consistency to it and help it to blend in more. Cute quilt! Good luck with it!

I think the "whitish" one works better than the "beige-ish" one. You have lights in the centers so I don't think it sticks out like a sore thumb. It blends with the white center, is darker than that center and doesn't clash. I don't think you need to go shopping. It's going to be a very cute quilt! :)

Also think the white one is better than the one that reads pink. Use several scattered throughout your quilt and it will look great. Love this idea for an I Spy quilt!

Before I even read all of your text my eye read that right one as pink.
the one on the left doesn't look out of place at all, especially if it will be scattered around. I actually think the overall quilt needs these lighter hexies. I would make sure to use a darker center with them though for contrast.
