I recently did a zig zag quilt this way. Even tho it looks so simple, the layout was REALLY confusing. I kept screwing it up. The blocks are set on point, which kicked my butt.

It is, except they used charms and I used a jelly roll. Personally, I think the jelly roll was easier, but that's just me. :thumbup:
